We have "Cheese Sonnet," "Flavor of the Day," and "Ferris-Wheeling," among many others, each playful in it's own way and each with an element of surprise. Never thought of mice ripple ice cream? What about a girl that drinks only orange-grape-strawberry soda? Praying mantids eating each other? What about what the Earth and the Sun taste like? You'll find it all here....The illustrations were interesting, a bit cartoon-esque, which fit the poems well. Lots of fun for read alouds, be warned parents, you may need a strong stomach for some of these!
A good one to have on hand for any library/school library.
