Serena gave me the ARC she snagged, and I'm about halfway through. I'm loving it so far, and I look forward to your thoughts.--AnnaDiary of an Eccentric
Mine's on its way from Amazon. Yay! I'm so excited.
Thanks for the reminder - I just checked the catalogue, and it's in processing - I'm going to head back now and make sure my name is on it first!- Atlas
I couldn't run out and get it for two reasons. 1) I'm broke. No money means no books, no matter how many amazing ones are waiting for me at the book stores. 2) I haven't read the first..... I must be the last person. But I did stick my self on the hold list at the library for both books, and the Hunger Games should be available for me within a week. Catching fire, there's quite a waiting list.
Don't feel bad, I didn't even go buy it as planned. I'll get it eventually...my pile is too big right now to add another anyways!
Oh, don't wait too long! I am only halfway through, and it's just as fantastic so far. I thought at first maybe I should go back and reread Hunger Games, but I didn't need to - from the first page I was right back in Katniss's world, and like the first book, it keeps intruding into my thoughts while I'm not reading it! It is amazing how she sucks you in and makes thatworld almost seem more real than this one. - Atlas
My copy just arrived in the mail today! I'm thinking about forgoing my current read, which I've had a hard time getting started on anyway, and reading this tomorrow!! Yay!!!
Hi Amanda, this post made me chuckle. I know exactly how you feel waiting impatiently for a book to arrive! ;-D Really enjoying your blog, even though I don't post comments too often.
